Chasing Cait | Influencer Talks

On what Chasing Cait is about…
Chasing Cait encompasses my whole business as a style coach, and everyday style blogger. I offer 1-on-1 and online styling services, as well as run an everyday style blog. I blog because I want to share my knowledge as a personal stylist to help women learn to love and appreciate their bodies as they are, and to give ALL women tips and tricks on how to be stylish, fabulous and comfortable every day. I think style is a great way to give women their confidence back. Having a blog is also a great way to reach a larger audience than just my 1-on-1 styling clients so I can make a bigger difference to more people.

On what’s the most rewarding part…
I love getting emails or comments from readers telling me that the advice I gave them changed the way they feel about themselves for the better. I love making a difference with what I do.

On where she’s taking it…
I really want to grow my online styling service, StyleMe. It’s a paid service through the blog that gives people access to my personal styling expertise without having to be in Auckland. The blog is a great lead-in to StyleMe, as you get more personalized and specific advice through StyleMe, rather than the more broad advice through the blog

On her most proud Chasing Cait moment…
Oohhh that’s a hard one! I’ve had a few. Launching StyleMe was definitely a great moment in my business – giving more people access to my expertise and helping them find their style. Also getting to the point where my blog was reaching almost 20,000 people a month was an awesome achievement. I think though, the fact the blog has been going for 6 years this month is my proudest moment. In a world that is ever-changing, I feel like I have built a great following and have longevity in what I do.

On how she measures success…
The number one measure of success for me is to be doing something I LOVE for a living, and to actually make a living out of it! I also feel successful when I make a difference to someone’s confidence through the advice I’ve given.
